by Incbusiness Team

Wipro Consumer Care Ventures, the venture investment arm of Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, has made an investment in Moi Soi, a pan-Asian F&B (food and beverage) brand from Ceres Foods, for an undisclosed value.

The investment round also saw participation from GVFL.

Moi Soi will use the capital to deepen its distribution across modern trade and quick commerce, expand its portfolio with newer flavours, and build the brand.

Established in 2021 by Deb Mukherjee, Moi Soi provides a range of products across 32 categories, such as sauces, chilli oils, noodles, rice papers, ready-to-eat curries, boba drinks and matcha powder in single-serve formats.

Moi Soi says it delivers to around 2,000 pin codes across 250 cities in India, dispatching over 6 lakh products every month. This brand is available across quick commerce, D2C, and modern retail. It is present in the markets of Australia, South Africa, Dubai, and Germany.

Wipro Consumer Care believes there is immense potential to scale the brand. This is the first investment from its Fund II and 16th deal from the venture arm.

Wipro Consumer Ventures Managing Partner Sumit Keshan said,Moi Soi has built a strong position in the premium, ready-to-cook space demonstrating an impressive ability to scale with a clear focus on authentic, high-quality products in the Asian cuisine segment delivered with convenience.”

Moi Soi Founder Deb Mukherjee said, "India has evolved. The way we dine today – sushi next to a Thai curry, dim sums and noodles on the same table – tells you the Indian palate has moved well beyond Indo-Chinese. Moi Soi was built to bring that authentic, multi-cuisine experience home.”

GVFL Managing Director Mihir Joshi said,We believe Moi Soi is well positioned at the intersection of evolving consumer preferences and premium food innovation in India. The category is witnessing strong momentum as consumers increasingly explore global cuisines and seek convenient, high-quality experiences at home.”
